Booster For Pivotal Tracker App Reviews
Very good
very good , simple and usefull app, thnx!
4/5
The app is good! But it will better if you let me sort stories by different paramters and filter them not only by type.
I can see where this app is going, but it needs a lot of work. A few of the big issues with me are pretty easy to address, so I’ll cover just those: - Biggest issue: Either can’t find the way to not have it live only in the system bar, or doesn’t support being a standalone window. I was looking to make myself more efficient by having a small window of Pivotal Tracker open next to Tweetbot, but having to constantly go back to the system tray slows me down. The webapp is too big and bulky, but goes too far the other way. - “All Stories” does nothing in the cross-project view, which is confusing. Just hide it if it’s not an option. - Attachments. It opens a window in a browser then downloads it. It would be more efficient to show attachments that can be displayed (images) in the app itself. Barring that, if the app is going to open a web browser, don’t just download the file. The web browser will already let me do that and most of the time I just want to view it, not have a copy on my local machine. I only evaluated it for a short time, because it didn’t improve my efficiency. WIth some changes I could see going back to it though.
I’m liking the app so far, well done! My only gripe is the dock + menubar icon is overkill. I hope the devs keep making updates, as this is the best native PT app out there
So I’ve added a new, second project from the site. Where is it in the Booster app? The sync button doesn’t help, neither does relaunching the app. It’s definitely out of sync.
You could remove the dock icon and the icon I see when I do Command-Tab. I love apps like Flux, Spectacle, Alfred, Cloudup, Screenhero, etc. because they dont clutter my dock or Command-Tab popup (only my taskbar!)
This app does not show all of my Pivotal cards no matter how many times I refresh it. Updates are also very slow to reflect in Booster. I like the app, but due to its innaccuracy, it’s not really an ideal solution and I still end up using Pivotal in the browser, effectively making this useless.
